Wildlife Portraits

Nature provides the photographer with wonderful and stunning subjects, perfect in every detail. In these portraits I have attempted to capture some of the character of the subjects, from regal and powerful Eagles, to the smallest deadly silent Owl.

The majority of the Raptor and Owl shots were taken at the Hawk Conservancy Trust In the UK (see the links page for details of the website). The trust not only breeds and rescue Birds of Prey, they also have education and training programs not only in the UK, but around the world.

For the photographer, a chance to photograph birds both native to the British Isles and from around the world in a controlled but natural environment.
